It’s been a while since we updated you about the sponsored walk we are doing to raise money for the Willow Foundation, we have completed many more miles but still have many to go and hoping to get some more sponsors to help us along the way!
We are walking the Essex Way, over 80 miles in total but broken down into stages – we reckon, with the wind behind us, we can finish it in two more walks. Here are a few photos of the last few stages, we have enjoyed beautiful countryside and peaceful days when we hardly saw a soul as we trekked through farms, fields and woods. Some days have been hot and hard going, others – as you will see – were a little on the damp side.
If you have a couple of pounds to spare then the Willow Foundation is a fabulous charity, creating special days out for young adults and their families who have faced difficult challenges as they battle serious illness. Special days to create something to look forward to amongst all the hospital visits and treatments, special days out to forget the illness for just a little while and create lasting memories. Jellypark is raising money this year by selling some of our digital stamps, by selling some of my original paintings on Ebay and by Fiona and I walking the Essex Way. You can also donate here
